Help shape the future of Dorset’s archive service

Posted in News

The archive service are currently conducting an online survey to help understand the things that people value about the archives service, but also the areas where they could change and improve.

Sam Johnston, County Archivist, is encouraging as many people as possible to complete the online survey, whether they have used Dorset History Centre (DHC) before or not. It should not take very much of your time and will provide them with invaluable help in gauging the views of those who use, or potentially might use DHC.

Sam explains: “DHC’s storage repositories are filling up and the service is looking ahead to a major capital building project which will allow us to continue collecting the county’s unique heritage for many years to come. The findings of this survey will help to shape the outcomes of the project we hope to deliver.”

Complete the survey by 4 November 2016 for be in with a chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher.
