A lively meeting to consider the Way Forward for the Dorset History Network was held on Saturday 8th April and attended by a number of members. A report on this meeting was published in the recent BALH Local History News.
Since this meeting Dorset History Network committee has been considering the options brought forward for the future of the Network. As a member of the Network we are now seeking your views on these options via a survey here:
If you are the society contact please share this e-mail with all your members as we wish to get the views of as many people as possible. The survey will be available until 5.00pm on Saturday 30th September 2017.
In advance of the AGM on Saturday 18th November 2017 members of the committee have been considering whether to remain in post. A number of committee members are standing down this year and, if the network continues in its current form, volunteers are needed to join the committee and take on officer roles.
Thank you for completing the survey and sharing it with your society. We look forward to seeing you at the AGM on Saturday 18th November. Since this event will be important to the future of the Dorset History Network it will be necessary to have as many members as possible at the meeting or giving their views in advance.
The survey can be found via the following link:
Best wishes
