On Saturday 27 January, the Committee of Dorset History Network met to discuss ‘The Way Forward’. Following the approval of the members at the AGM in November, we have appointed a Consultant to discuss with our members and non-members the work and nature of Dorset History Network.
The findings of this Consultant will be presented shortly, and we hope to bring our members further information as soon as possible, with a view to holding an Emergency General Meeting in April. We will inform our members when a date for this meeting has been confirmed.
The committee meeting also discussed future events, albeit with some uncertainty. We would like to hold our usual AGM in November, and this will have a First World War theme this year. We hope to bring further details about this after the EGM if appropriate.
We will endeavour to keep you up-to-date with the future of DHN, both through our website, as well as email to our members. Please do look out for further information.
